rose & bone

A story loosely based around one interpretation of "ring around the rosie" which claims it to be about the bubonic plague. I found the contrast of youth to death plus the whimsical game against darkness of the black death intriguing.

Such effervescently beautiful images. (and wonderful artist's statement too, very well said and describes your series perfectly)
Very dark and dream like but with such beautiful beautiiiiiiful soft light.

Very well done, I adore this series.

i can't even begin on how incredibly remarkable you are! the entire concept behind this series is so clear and powerful. your creative direction take such a modernly dark yet romantic perspective on this specific event of history. I have been such a big fan of your work for almost 3 years now! You inspired me to make my own blog :) keep doing what you are best at and I can't wait to see more of your work

These are stunning. They're beautiful, but just strange enough to work for the concept you were going for. I love the image of the girl holding the scissors, so quietly intense.
