Top: thrifted from blessingdales charity shop
Shorts: thrifted from goodwill
Shoes: thrifted from savers (HALF OFF SALE THIS WEEKEND!)

Seriously in love with these ankle wrap shoes. I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find something to wear with them since my closet is lacking in the yellow department. I'm definitely keeping my eyes out for golden items to pair these with so I can wear them more often!
So, while shooting for this entry yesterday this creeper was walking towards me in the park. When I see creepers while I’m shooting self-portraits, I immediately begin to pretend like I’m just shooting the park/birds/whatever and not myself since that’s super awkward. But really instead of shooting I am clicking the button while watching the person in the camera screen so I can see if they are going to come up behind me, so I can be prepared to rack them or.. something… painful…
Anyway, so I’m watching this guy’s reflection from my camera screen and as I am watching him walk, he suddenly goes behind a tree and stays there. Yeah. he thinks I didn’t see him go there and hide since my back was turned on him, but he was just watching me from behind a tree….
Yeah, pretty awkward. Has anyone else experienced major creeps when shooting for their blogs/anything else? or are they all too busy in Texas creepin on me? Surely some of you readers have other entertaining stories pertaining to creepin, tell us!
I'll have another post later tonight with my look from today + information about my shop that I'm opening up online soon, so keep an eye out for that!
xoxo,
Rockie

i live in philadelphia, so as a small white girl i am always on the lookout for creepy people. but when i photograph models in public places, all the creepers come out. i get a lot of people yelling things like "yo, take my picture!" or asking to get a shot of themself with the model. i also have seen people take pictures of me/the model/MUA because they think we're famous or something. i am always really careful when i'm walking around with my expensive equipment...i usually keep it all in a rolling suitcase so people just asume i'm going on vacation. then i get made fun of my by classmates/friends when i walk into class with a huge suitcase 'cause i didn't have time to stop by my apartment after a shoot.
Oh I get so paranoid when I see creepy people around me! It's just me overthinking things but I really do get scared and grossed out.
Beautiful photos!

I get the same thing all the time!! It's so creepy. One time I biked alllll the way to this field and I get there. I'm all dresses up in this 1920s sailor dress with a big bow in my hair, carrying my tripod and a million other things. I run out from the bush where I park my bike and there's some guy in a car just sitting there...in my field!! So I had to bike back all the way to my house and I didn't even get one shot. AND…I felt like a total idiot biking back, because I didn’t have time to put my sweats on over my dress. The vent’s over. ; )
Anyways love your guy’s blog! Your style always inspires me.
I know this sounds cliché, but I’d be honored if you checked out my blog.
(Sorry I'm an idiot and for got to put my blog adress.)

so far no creepers, but I haven't shot selfies outside in awhile. Alas...I'm a photo slacker, lol.
actually.......
my friend who does most of the photography for my looks on lookbook is an amateur/futre photographer who takes her awesome camera [named Taxi] with her everywhere. so one time she was at the irvine spectrum with her sister a couple friends, taking pictures of them and stuff. and theres this fountain, and she took some pics of her sis n the fountain, then she saw this cute little bird on the fountain and started shooting it, trying to focus in on the bird, and took a whole bunch of pics. then later that day at home, while going thru and editing the photos she saw that there was this man sitting on the other side of the fountain right behind the bird, staring at the camera the whole time! just giving this weird look like "why r those girls taking pictures of me? freaks."

I don't really get creepers, just annoying guys who think it's funny to jump in your frame and pull strange faces. So childish. I love your top by the way!
You dress so lovely!
Who takes your photos? They are amazing. And what camera do they use?
Oooh, you look amazing. I love those shoes.
Thanks so much for putting me on your blogroll!
